Terms of Service

By accessing or using BrownFeed at brownfeed.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BrownFeed is an anonymous community platform centered around daily photo-based attendance check-ins. The Service includes features such as:

  • Daily attendance check-ins with photo uploads
  • Community boards for tips, stories, and discussions
  • Voting and commenting on content
  • Points (Brownies), experience (XP), and level system
  • Ranking and achievement features

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must sign in using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your authentication credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Providing accurate profile information

4. User Content

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload or create on the Service. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the Service.

4.2 Content Guidelines

You agree not to post content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
  • Contains sexually explicit material or nudity unrelated to the Service's purpose
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains spam, malware, or phishing attempts
  • Impersonates another person or entity
  • Violates the privacy of others

4.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without prior notice.

5. Points and Rewards System

The Service includes a virtual points system (Brownies) and experience points (XP). These have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
  • Manipulate the voting or points system
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BrownFeed shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
